Our story
There’s a particular feeling when you finally find the curtain that matches exactly what you had in mind. Not almost. Not close enough. Exactly. That feeling is what Intérieurs Inspirés was built around.
My name is Amanda, and I’m an interior designer based between the UK and France. For the past seven years, I’ve been renovating a property in France — and for seven years, I’ve run into the same problem: quality made-to-measure window treatments, with a genuine choice of fabrics, are surprisingly hard to find here.
French interiors have a confident aesthetic of their own. But for anyone looking to introduce a cottage floral, a botanical print, or a traditional fabric that gives character to an old stone house, the options in France are surprisingly limited.
So, I decided to create what I was looking for myself…
A different perspective on window dressing
What drew me to this is simple: certain fabrics and styles rooted in British textile tradition are genuinely hard to find in France. Botanical prints, heritage florals, textured plains — the kind of thing that feels completely at home in a French farmhouse or a Haussmann apartment, but that you can’t easily source here.
Intérieurs Inspirés was created to change that — and to serve the clients who already know what they’re looking for.
We offer a curated selection of made-to-measure blinds, curtains and shutters, in fabrics that range from clean contemporary weaves to the kind of British-inspired prints that simply aren’t widely available in France yet. Every piece is made to your exact measurements, by European brands we work with directly.
